Captain Thomas & Linda

• We have lived aboard a sailboat, full time, for the past 22 years. We've been married for 22 years and still really like each other! Our boat is our home and where we are anchored is our backyard. This is what we have chosen as our way of life. And part of this joy for us is sharing a piece of this experience with others!
• Our first boat was a 34 ft. Lee Creekmore design that we built ourselves. We “cruised” and lived on that great boat, Aphrodite, for 16 years. As we sailed the Bahamas, the entire Caribbean, South and Central America on Aphrodite, Thomas’ vision of the new bigger sailboat was forming. We then sailed to the coast of North Carolina to begin the building project of our 78 ft. steel sailing ship “Ciganka”. • One of the reasons we built a bigger boat for ourselves, was so that we had the space to have people on board to share these wonderful sailing adventures and places with others!
• Captain Thomas has had his 100 Ton Auxiliary Sail Coast Guard License for 15 years. And he has 15 years of Captaining sailing charters. He is one of the best teachers in all aspects of sailing, navigating, boatbuilding, and sail making.
