What to Pack

Do not bring hard luggage because we have nowhere to store hard luggage. Please pack your items in a canvas bag or duffel bag. Pack light! This is a very casual ship and 90% of the time you will be in your bathing suit or shorts and T-shirts enjoying the out islands of the Bahamas. You may want to bring one set of “going out” clothes for a night out in town. But again, the island is very casual.

Beverages

Beverages such as coffee, iced tea, orange juice, lemonade and Gatorade will be provided for you. We do not provide sodas and alcohol. In the Bahamas, liquor such as Rum, Whiskeys, Vodka, Gin, Tequila, and Liquors are very inexpensive so you can buy these items yourself when you arrive. Beer and wine is also available. You will have time to shop for your beverages before we leave the dock.

Arriving in Marsh Harbour

Upon your arrival in Marsh Harbour get a taxi at the airport. Call "Captain Thomas" on the taxi's VHF radio on Channel 01. We will instruct the taxi where to meet us. For some reason if you do not reach us on the radio, have the taxi take you to the Conch Marina.

Emergency Contact Information

IF there is an emergency and you need to contact someone on our ship during their charter this is what you need to do.
Email: cruisers@oii.net. Put the name of the ship and the VHF channel “Ciganka” VHF channel 01 in the subject and then type out the message you need to get to them. As soon as the email is sent we will be called on the VHF radio which we monitor at all times. This is the quickest way to get a hold of us. This is for an emergency only.
